Born in Thailand and educated at universities in London
and Berlin, Professor Maryann Riekeyword spent over
twenty-five years researching, documenting, and categorizing the
world's most tragic cases of child abuse. Professor Riekeyword was the
first to design a computerized modeling tool that gives social workers
suggestions on how to recognize, intervene, and prevent future tragic child
abuse.

Tool, (CAAST), is currently being taught in many universities throughout
asia and has been deployed in hundreds of goverment and civilian social
welfare agencies. |
